In my second official semester at UMBC I was rebounding from the all time worst performance in my academic career. I had effectively failed every class that I had enrolled in the semester before.
However, after a run in with a member of the campus newspaper, my life took a drastic(in a good way) turn.
In any case, "Hey." is where our story begins.

After exchanging IG messages with the current Photography Manager of the Retriever, Winston Zhou, I was asked to send him an email regarding my employment. However, as the specific content of the email was unspecified, I simply put "Hey." in the subject and left the rest blank. No greeting, no text in the body, no email signature, just "Hey." Much to my relative surprise however, I was later hired.

The Retriever's office is located in a relatively small corner of the University center building. It has become a hideout of mine, and although I don't have key card access to the room, I am pretty sure I am the employee who spends the most time in there.

As such, I have had a tremendous amount of time to analyze every aspect of the room and pick up many small details that might have often been overlooked.

But the office isn't always empty
